18 Day Water Fast Videos


I completed an 18 day water fast in Sept 2010. I loved it.
It is going into fall.
Following the fast, Im not eating all raw anymore. In the day I eat watery fruits including Persian cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes, the last of the seasons melons, papayas, sapotes, mangos, also jujubes, persimmons, figs, lettuces. Then for last meal I eat simple cooked veg like kabocha, cabbage, carrots, sweet potatoes, maybe lentils, or beans, steamed greens. I also eat homemade saurkrauts made with apple cider vinegar, not salt. Some saurkrauts use burdock, daikon, carrot, cabbage, apple. I can't eat too much or too many combos or my bod will start to go out of whack. Keeping it most simple keeps my body centered. I do not use salt, oil, sugars, syrups, refined flour, or anything that is not a whole food. Besides fruits, for a meal I will really just eat a sweet potato and fresh salad greens, or steamed greens with mung beans, or quinoa with steamed greens and kraut. A vegetable soup; no salt, no commercial veg broth, no beans, no grains, just veggies, herbs, water. Like that. Really clean and simple. Low fat to NO fat. Fats really slow down my digestion. I like it when food moves thru easily and within 12 hrs most. This way of eating is energizing, nourishing and I am loving it. Staying balanced and feeling good.
